Yoodli Rises to the Next Level with $6M+ Funding

Over the last year, we’ve been hard at work building technology to help people communicate more confidently (video). Yoodli is now used by thousands of folks ranging from World Champions of Public Speaking to college students preparing for upcoming interviews and corporate professionals during team presentations!

Today, we’re excited to announce our $6 million seed round co-led by Madrona Venture Group and Cercano Management (formerly Vulcan Capital). This is in addition to the $1.1 million pre-seed round from the Allen AI Institute and Madrona in the fall of last year. The new round of funding will allow us to supercharge Yoodli’s product development, expand the team, and scale the technology to many more people.

We’re lucky to have some incredible mentors and investors join our round. These include Jeff Richards (GGV Capital), Renn Vara and Maureen Taylor (SNP Communications), Kirby Winfield (Ascend), Bruce Jaffe (Microsoft), Brian Jacobs (Emergence Capital), John Mitchell (Stanford), Jamie Rapperport (Eversight), and Dave Rosenberg (MuleSoft).

It’s also an honor to welcome Patrick Ennis from Madrona to our Board of Directors. Patrick brings years of experience from ARCH Venture Partners, Intellectual ventures and Bell Labs. Patrick has been instrumental in getting us off the ground from day one — his guidance will be invaluable as we scale Yoodli to millions more people!

We’re still headquartered at the Allen AI Institute in Seattle and are hiring across several roles — software engineering, design, marketing, product management, and more (check out our careers page).
